The BATTLE for Liberty & Justice continues.

The strong women of The Sisterhood have struck a serious blow to the Y-Wood Corporation; but the Tyranny remains.

Our heroes are now branded as complete outlaws and to speak of God in any such manner will result in certain death; yet for these women, faith has chosen them.

To be a true patriot one must fight to the bitter end, and the time has come once more to send waves of “Hope” throughout the land.

However, a powerful robotic army led by an overzealous general and two of the most highly regarded super robot specimens now stand in their way; but these are the Mystical Slayers, and they will not stop until America is free.

  Dedication

"On the basis of the evidence in front of scientists today, the chances of life arising naturally anywhere in the universe, without divine intervention of some kind, are currently statistically noted as impossible." So, this novel is dedicated to the creator above; thank you for giving me the miracle of life and a chance to tell this story.

  Prologue

The women of the sisterhood regrouped in a new location. Their numbers were low and help was at a minimum. The San Bernabe vineyard, which was hidden in southern Monterey County, California, sitting beneath the Santa Lucia Mountains to its west and the Salinas River to its east, was now their new home. The place was huge, and it was far enough out of the way to act as a decent base compound. One thing for sure, wine and grapes were plentiful. A big part of living here was the making of wine, which included the removal of white grape skins after harvest, carefully fermenting them in vats, and lastly putting the finished product in the winery for the final output.

In such a secluded spot, people were few and far between. Most of the local residents were wild boar, coyotes, rabbits, eagles, deer, falcons, ducks, and fish. These made for interesting outdoor activities.

Today, a young red-headed girl stalked these very grounds searching for a reward. She was one of the lucky ones; one of the few who survived the devastating attack on the sisterhood's citizen branch in lower Boston, years ago. Sun was her name, and she crept her way up before a large boulder and peeked around its corner. "I see you," she whispered while looking up at a decent-sized mountain lioness. The creature was busy licking itself and knew nothing of Sun's watchful eyes.

Sun was proud of sneaking such a magnificent view. She rubbed both her hands together, one of which was made partially of metal, robotic in nature, and covered by fake skin.

She often drifted back in thought to that dreaded day; the day when she not only injured her hand but also lost many of her good friends. The bombs never truly went away.

Her wandering mind had taken her away from the present moment and caused her arm to slip slightly from the rock's edge. She'd made a noise, one that she so wished she had not made.

Just as the lioness leapt at her and was about to rip the young girl's head off, Sun instantly leaned backwards, and the beast flew over her, missing her by mere centimeters. Someone up above was definitely watching over her.

Before Sun could draw her weapon, the fast and agile lioness was already coming back at her. Sun knew her only hope was to try to get to the creature's backside; a lesson she had learned from her training and studying in jiujitsu.

If she was able to jump on the thing's back and wrap her arms around its throat, she might have a chance of strangling the lion, but it definitely wasn't going to be an easy feat.

Hungry for its morning meal, the lioness swiped at the young girl with its deadly claws. Sun blocked the beast's meaty paws and leaped on its back before wrapping both her legs around the creature's belly. The lioness bucked and writhed in an attempt to loosen the girl's hold, but Sun placed her arms firmly around the thick neck of the beast and began to put a choke hold on her.

The lioness continued to jump and swirl about, making it almost impossible for Sun to hold on.

It was a valiant effort from the young girl, but it didn't come to fruition. Moments later, she was thrown from the lioness and slammed down to the ground.

But this young girl was not an average kid. She was a Mystical Slayer, and she had the Starigen 6280 formula running through her veins. Sun was not through just yet.

The mighty animal circled her, rumbling with low growls as it tried to get a sense of whether or not its human prize was still conscious. The predator's instincts told her the girl was still alive, so the lioness pounced on her again.

Still desperately wanting to refill her lungs with some much-needed oxygen, Sun was laying on her back when she noticed the silhouette of the lioness sailing through the air towards her for a second time. With no time to think, she immediately drew her left leg as far back to her chest as possible and unleashed the power like a cannonball as she slammed an up-kick directly into the creature'
s face.

It was a solid hit, and the lioness was stunned for a moment. That was all the time Sun needed, as it gave the fiery red head enough time to roll over and leap back to her feet. With a burst of newfound energy, Sun sprinted up the hill to get a higher vantage point before the lioness recovered and prepared to go at her again.

The young Slayer girl then reached for her laser pistol, which should've been by her side, but she realized with a grunt of dismay that her hand was lying over an empty holster. The laser must've come loose and fallen out during the fight.

She had no choice but to fight for her life with bare hands. Leaping off the hillside with a flying side kick, she screamed at the top of her lungs and launched herself at the beast. "Arghhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Sun flew through the air, but as her foot neared its target, the lioness reared up on its hind legs and snapped its jaws at the young girl as she sailed right between the animal's front legs.

Having missed the target completely, Sun crashed to the ground and tumbled down the hill.

The lioness spun about and jumped through the air at the young girl, with the intention of delivering a final deadly blow. All Sun could do was close her eyes and brace herself for death.

The world slowed down and almost stopped for Sun, just for a second, as the lioness launched itself in a final attack, claws extracted and roaring loudly.

Right before the moment of impact, a wide laser beam struck the beast in the head. The female lion flew over the other side of a big boulder, just missing the girl below her, and rumbled to the ground with a massive thud.

A woman with long curly blond hair stood before Sun. As Sun slowly removed her trembling hands from her face, she saw Jansa standing before her.

The lioness, clearly a tough one, was back up and moving around them with the tip of its tail swishing in anger. Jansa blocked the beast's path to the child and fired another shot with her pistol. The beast recoiled, releasing an earth-shaking roar in response to receiving yet another serious wound. With one more shot at the creature, it finally rolled over to its side and took its last breath. Jansa spun about to look at her protégée with a look of fury on her face.

"What did I tell you?" the doctor scolded. "It's too dangerous this far out."

Sun came closer, leaning in and hugging Jansa close. "I am sorry, Aunt Jansa. I was too curious. I messed up."

The Mystical Slayer kept her arm around the youngster as they began walking back home.

"One of these days, you're going to get yourself killed, kid. You're just too darn rambunctious." Sun, finally catching her breath, did not disagree. She promised herself she would do better. Jansa had been one of Sun's many mentors over the last few years, and she used the time it took to walk back to the sisterhood's main compound to talk to her.

"I want you to remember one important thing, Sun…if you remember anything at all. We are only as strong as we are united, or as weak as we are divided."

The two kept moving as Jansa patted the fiery kid on the top of her head. "Let's get some breakfast," she said, grinning. "Have I ever told you breakfast is my favorite meal of the day?"

Sun was finally able to crack a smile.

She knew how lucky she was to be the first young girl trained by each of the main sisters in California.

In the early months, she had learned much about robotics, especially when Sinaye had helped with her new hand before she mysteriously disappeared. Those days of robotic knowledge helped her understand the technology behind many other things in this world.

She was beginning to think that her Muay Thai training was her favorite. Her teacher, Mahira, had developed her skill set really well. But, like in most martial arts training, there were times when Sun would change her mind and fall in love with jiujitsu instead.

It was with Jansa she was able to study the medical aspects of life, as well as various spiritual healing and breathing techniques.

Chaya worked with her on sword use, axe use, and plenty of computer knowhow.

Zaey had become the best of cooks in the homestead, and some of those lessons were real fun too.

Sun had remembered all these lessons with the sisters as her life flashed before her eyes earlier. Her mind would not stop thinking as she and Jansa approached their main building.

She thought about how Raegan taught her history and geography, not to mention plenty of one-on-one fighting skills and daily guidance through faith and prayers.

She also guided Sun on firearms, which Sun had really taken to. From day one, she wanted two pistols; one in each hand to work with. She was remarkably ambidextrous and could fire both weapons simultaneously, each as good as the other.

Even after just her first couple of lessons, Sun had won every youth shooting contest hands down. Karma won the swords play, and Victory, the most recent newbie, was winning the grappling matches. But Sun was a shooter, and she was proud of it.

The most amazing thing in the young child's Mystical Slayer life, was the ever-present feeling of some sort of an entity by her side. Someone or something—either way, she felt it was a male presence—watching over her, and she could feel him each night as she lay her head upon her pillow.

It was like she was awake, but at the same time, she was sleeping. There were always soothing words that lingered in her head. She wasn't sure if these were just dreams or maybe visions, or even perhaps lingering memories from her childhood, from past lives she may have lived long, long ago. His presence, no matter how real it felt, was her secret for the time being.

  Chapter One

The speedy sky flyer zoomed its way over the Atlantic Ocean on a flight path back home to New York. It was then that the super robot Galax received notification via his AI that the forming of the so-called "Statue of Liberty" was once again in progress. He immediately conveyed this information to his general beside him.

Berlin Purcell's eyes lit up. "Oh really?" he said. "Is it those blasted sisters at it again? For the life of me, they never quit!" He then looked out to the sky, shaking his head from side to side. "Go ahead and fly to the warehouse. These defiant little bitches will never succeed. What the heck is it about freedom and this ancient gift from France that these idiots are so dead set on erecting up around the bay?"

The ship took a slight nosedive and headed south, directed by the coordinates from the super robot that led them to a building hidden in the city.

The president of the Y-Wood Corporation got all excited and took the wheel of the ship. "I say blow them all to shit," he called out as he pinpointed the locale of such treason.

He brought the flyer closer and then let rip with all the firepower their war machine had at its disposal. Rocket launchers and laser beams struck down on the warehouse, and an entire block of the city went up in an explosion. "WOOOOOOO WEEEEEE," yelled the president. "It's great to be alive!"

The general whirled the sky ship around to head back home, but not before he turned for one last look at the wreckage he'd caused. He began chanting, "USA, USA, USA." And then he added, "Oh, it's great to be the president."

His magnificent silver and blue robot next to him was not quite sure what he meant by such a chant. He surmised it was sarcasm. He asked, "Sir, why is it that you cheer such a past name? I thought you said this was not the United States anymore."

The president smiled. "Oh, it's not. Those days are long gone." Letting the vessel take on autopilot, he stretched his arms up above his head. "Look…no hands," he teased. He then grinned to his super creation and spoke on. "We are the Y-Wood Corporation, and so help me, there will be loyalty, respect, honor, and virtues in this country, or I will go to war with anyone and everyone who thinks otherwise."

Nodding his head in self-agreement, the president added, "All we have to do is get China, Russia, and a few other still-standing nations on our side, and then the world can come together as one. Otherwise, we simply destroy them as well."

Galax liked what he heard. He thought out
loud, "Silly, patriotic God-preaching women were never going to be any match for the elite people in this world." He was programed to like war. War was fun, but winning was even better. President Purcell looked at him, clearly pleased that he agreed.

  ***

The sisterhood had made good on their promise to strike out at the Y-Wood Corporation. The patriotic freedom fighters had truly taken a giant step in their fight against corruption in fallen America. But many lives were lost and the pain still lingered, even years later.

The so-called "men's club" has now turned to the military leader, Berlin Purcell. He and his legion of robotic soldiers and powerful allies carry on in places like New York, California, Washington D.C., and Texas, to name just a few, and they have rallied together to form a new standard of expectation for the country and beyond.

Today is the year 3019, and to speak of any type of God would mean certain death. For the sisters, the infamous Mystical Slayers, faith had chosen them.

  ***

The very intimidating super robot kneeled down before the prisoner as he spoke calmly and clearly to his subject. "You will obey or die, for that is the Y-Wood way."

The weak and battered woman was perhaps in her late fifties. A tough cookie indeed, she continued to hold off conveying any helpful knowledge that may be used against the sisterhood, and answered the metal monstrosity in a low, steady voice. "Get away from me."

Robots were common among the land now, and their intelligence continued to grow more and more. One day, perhaps sooner than most realized, they could even rule the world. This particularly advanced version of robot leaned in close and spoke into the woman's ear. "I have to have the information that I ask of you, or you will be torn to pieces." The woman swallowed and gritted her teeth as Omagus glared at the Boston underground survivor. "Tell me, and I will let you go," he lied.

There were few leftovers—that's what his general called them—who were taken in the great raid three years before, but they were yet to find anyone who would talk. Their loyalty to the women of the so-called sisterhood was quite impressive. Those kept alive were slaves to the Corporation, yet all preferred death over robotic torture.
